In this talk we'll look at when and how to define and automate Acceptance Tests from both a business and development point of view. Focusing on the business benefits of specifying scenarios in plain English and automating them with F#. The talk will include live code samples using TickSpec, a lightweight framework for automating tests.


Phil Trelford is a Software Architect and Developer at an ISV supplying real-time electronic trading software. His career so far spans over 15 years, with his early years predominately spent developing video games in assembler. These days Phil can be found hacking on .Net technologies like Silverlight and Rx in F# and C#. On his daily commute Phil works on TickSpec, a lightweight Open Source .Net Behavior Driven Development framework.
